  1. The identification of phytocytokines involved in the control of plant development and / or in defense control mechanisms with the objective of discovering biocontrol tools.
  2. Understanding the evolutionary dynamics of gene families in Rosaceae genomes including the role of transposable elements and epigenetics in the expansion of gene families and / or the adaptation of plants to environmental stresses.
