Located in Angers, the PHENOTIC Seeds and Plants instrumentation and imaging platform brings together phenotyping tools based essentially on image acquisition and processing, conventional / non-conventional imaging, high throughput and/or high measurement accuracy, and integrating the skills and expertise of ICST and plant science research teams. 

The PHENOTIC platform has been awarded IBiSA label since 2018 and the ISC (INRAe) label in 2021. 
It is also part of the PHENOME-EMPHASIS-FR national infrastructure and the Biogenouest network.

PHENOTIC offers the following services :

• seed phenotyping :

- study of the physical, sanitary and germinative quality of seeds and seedlings.

• phenotyping on whole plants:

- production and maintenance of plants under different gradients of climatic and confinement conditions, 
- quantification of disease symptoms on plants and proposals, characterization of horticultural production quality: architecture and fruit quality.
